About the Theatre

The Circus Theatricals Studio Theatre at the Hayworth is our newly built 42 seat studio space, completed in April 2006.

The theatre is on the second floor above The Hayworth Theatre, in a historical building, designated in 1983 as Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument 268. The building was designed in 1926 by noted architect Stiles O. Clements, a major Los Angeles figure, who designed about 100 buildings along Wilshire Blvd. The two-story stucco-overbrick structure is representative of the Spanish Colonial Revival style, also called the ornate Churrigueresque style.

Take the 10 East towards Los Angeles.
Take the VERMONT AVE / HOOVER ST exit.
Turn LEFT onto S. Hoover Street.
Turn RIGHT onto Wilshire Blvd.
Turn LEFT on Carondolet (Theatre is on the corner of Wilshire and Carondolet)
Enter the building on Carondolet.

From the 101 / Valley / North:
Take the 101 South towards Los Angeles.
Take the Take the Benton Way exit.
Turn RIGHT onto N Benton Way.
Turn LEFT onto W Temple Street.
Turn RIGHT onto N Rampart Blvd.
Turn LEFT onto Wilshire Blvd..
Turn RIGHT on Carondolet (Theatre is on the corner of Wilshire and Carondolet)
Enter the building on Carondelet.

From the 1-5 South:
Take the I-5 N towards Los Angeles.
Take the CA-110 / PASADENA FWY / GRAND AVE exit toward HARBOR FWY / SAN PEDRO / PASADENA.
Take the 6TH ST / 4TH ST exit toward I-110 S / WILSHIRE BLVD / DOWNTOWN.
Take the CA-110 ramp toward WILSHIRE BLVD / HARBOR FWY.
Take the ramp toward WILSHIRE BLVD.
Stay STRAIGHT to go onto S BEAUDRY AVE.
Turn RIGHT onto WILSHIRE BLVD.
Turn RIGHT on CARONDOLET (Theatre is on the corner of Wilshire and Carondelet)
Enter the building on Carondelet.

From the 110 / Pasadena:
Take the S ARROYO PKWY / CA-110 / HISTORIC ROUTE 66. Continue to follow CA-110 N.
Take the 6TH ST / 4TH ST exit toward I-110 S / WILSHIRE BLVD / DOWNTOWN.
Take the CA-110 ramp toward WILSHIRE BLVD / HARBOR FWY.
Take the ramp toward WILSHIRE BLVD.
Stay STRAIGHT to go onto S BEAUDRY AVE.
Turn RIGHT onto WILSHIRE BLVD.
Turn RIGHT on CARONDOLET (Theatre is on the corner of Wilshire and Carondelet)
Enter the building on Carondolet.

Parking

Street Parking
Street parking is plentiful on Carondelet and surrounding streets.
Parking Lots
There are two parking lots adjacent to the building. We recommend the low priced lot located on the corner of Wilshire and Coronado, adjacent to the building on Wishire. Fees vary, but most of the time, you can pay $3 after 2pm.
A parking structure is also located next to the Hayworth Theatre Center, on Carondelet between Wilshire and 6th street.
The Parking structure has a 24 hour attendant on duty.
