Odyssey Theatre and Circus Theatricals co-production set to open January 26th

Los Angeles, CA - Veteran stage and film actor ALFRED MOLINA joins the cast as Buckingham, Richard III’s cohort in crime, in The Odyssey Theatre and Circus Theatricals co-production of Richard III. Richard III, William Shakespeare’s “History” play about one of the most controversial kings of England features Jack Stehlin (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) as Richard. Casey Biggs (“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”) will direct. Richard III will open February 3 and will run through April 7.

Alfred Molina, who is also a Circus Theatricals Associate Artist, received an LA Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Tony nomination, and Ovations nomination, for the 1998/1999 Broadway and Los Angeles productions of "ART." His numerous film credits include: “Chocolat” (SAG nomination), “Magnolia” (SAG nomination) “Boogie Nights” (SAG nomination), and “Enchanted April.” He plays Diego Rivera in the upcoming film “Frida” (with Salma Hayek)soon to be released.

Richard III, written in 1592-1593, is the story of Shakespeare’s captivating duke who uses his devastating wit, courage and guile to seduce women and charm men in his lust for the throne of England.

Richard III, opening Saturday, February 3, will run Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8PM, Sundays at 7PM. Matinees: Sundays Feb. 10 and 24th , 2PM (no 7PM perfs. on matinee dates).
